Our 290K mile Chevy Trailblazer broke down on the way back to Seattle, and we originally took it to another shop in town. They were fine and correctly diagnosed the water pump failure, but we asked Westside to quote a replacement as well. It was actually more cost effective to pay for a tow from the other shop to Westside *and* have Westside do a compression check on all of the cylinders before the repair (the other shop said they couldn't do any tests for possible head gasket compromise until after the water pump had been changed). Westside did a great job coordinating with us in Seattle to get the work done, including a last minute headlight replacement using a bulb we had in the glove compartment, and setting up an after-hours pickup on Sunday night with a lock box for the key. Then on Monday morning they texted to make sure the rig had made it back to Seattle ok. I never met Thomas or Brad or the mechanics, but the Westside team took care of us exceptionally well!
Thanks Casey! Glad you made it home safe
